General Information

Can I use Next Gen Math on my iPad, tablet or smart phone?

Yes! We have worked very hard to ensure Next Gen Math is mobile friendly. If you have any issues using the site on a mobile device please use our error reporting system in the contact section to notify us and we will fix the issue as soon as possible.

Some pages on Next Gen Math do not look right or work properly. Is it my computer?

You are probably using an outdated version of your web browser. Update your web browser to the latest version to ensure everything will work properly.

Sometimes I have duplicate questions on my worksheets. How can I fix that?

This might happen from time to time. All the questions are made using a random number generator. If you find two or more similar questions, simply hit refresh or the F5 key and a new instance of the worksheet will be created.

Logging In

When students try logging in on a device that another student has used, they will sometimes be defaulted to the student who had logged in previously. How do you clear the old credentials so that the new student can log in?

The first thing the student should try is click "Log out", which is located on the upper right-hand of any Next Gen Math page. From there the student will be redirect to the login page. If the student is logging in with a username and password they can now enter their credentials and should see their own account data upon success. If the student is logging in through an SSO such as Clever they may need to visit Clever.com and select log out from there. From there they can now log in under their own account and navigate back to Next Gen Math through their dashboard.

Assignments

How do I change the due by date after assigning work to students?

Changing the due date on an assignment is easy.

  1. Select the Dashboard drop down, which is located on the upper right-hand of any page
  2. Select "Assignment Data"
  3. Locate the assignment for which you want to change the due date and select the "edit" button
  4. Change the due date and click on the blue "Confirm" button

NOTE

Only the author of the original assignment can edit it's details. For example, if an administrator pushes out an assignment to all students, only the administrator can edit to due date.
