Viewing access and engagement data

This tutorial will show you how to view access and engagement metrics for your school site or district.

Once you have logged in, go to the 'Usage' navigation button in the sidebar. From here, you can access both Access and Engagement data.

Access Data

When viewing Access data, you can change the date range, filter which roles you see, and export your data as a PDF using the controls shown below.

  • Update the date range to any date range you like, then select 'Apply.'

  • You can filter user data by role (teachers, students, and admins).

  • You can also export the data to a PDF.

The first section that you can see contains your key metrics, daily unique users, daily total logins, and the total logins for school administrators, teachers, and students (depending on which roles are currently selected).

By scrolling down, you can see more detailed information such as:

  • Daily unique users

  • Daily total logins

  • Top 10 logins (for school admins, teachers, and students)

Note: Hovering over a bar will show you the total number of logins for that teacher, student, or administrator.

Engagement Data

If you scroll back to the top and click on the 'Engagement' tab, you can gain insight to how individuals are engaging with the NextGenMath.com platform.

Like the Access tab, you can filter by date range and role, export your data, and expand and collapse the different sections.
