Logging In

To login to Next Gen Math please visit nextgenmath.com/login.

NOTE

If you are using Clever or ClassLink at your school or district please see the instructions for logging into Next Gen Math using the Single Sign-on platform that applies to you.

Login with credentials

WARNING

When logging in to a school site or district with credentials you must select the site name which appears as you are typing into the field. Only typing out the name of the site and not selecting the provided option will result in a failed login.

School administrators, Teachers, Students

To login as a school administrator, teacher, or student, select the School tab located at the top of the login form. From there you'll need to enter your username, password, and school site.

District administrators

To login as a district administrator, select the District tab located at the top of the login form. From there you'll need to enter your username, password, and district.

Login with QR code (Students)

WARNING

If your personal QR code is lost, you must inform your teacher as soon as possible. Your teacher will need to deactivate the lost QR code and provide you with a new QR code to log in with.

  1. To log in using a QR code, ask your teacher for your login badge. From the Next Gen Math login page, you can click the 'Next Gen Math Badge Log in' button.

  2. Your browser may ask you to allow nextgenmath.com to use your computer's camera. Click 'Allow'.

  3. Hold your personl QR code up to your computer camera and wait for the green checkmark to log you in to Next Gen Math.

Login with Clever

To Login using Clever, select the "Single Sign-on" tab located on the Login form. Following that, select the Clever button. If you are not currently signed into Clever you will be redirected to the Clever login page to enter your credentials. Once you have signed in you will then be redirected back to Next Gen Math and signed in. If you are already signed into Clever before clicking the button you should automatically be signed into Next Gen Math and redirected to your dashboard.

To Login using ClassLink, select the "Single Sign-on" tab located on the Login form. Following that, select the ClassLink button. If you are not currently signed into ClassLink you will be redirected to the ClassLink login page to enter your credentials. Once you have signed in you will then be redirected back to Next Gen Math and signed in. If you are already signed into ClassLink before clicking the button you should automatically be signed into Next Gen Math and redirected to your dashboard.

WARNING

If when logging in through an SSO such as Clever or ClassLink you are redirected to the nextgenmath.com login page without any error message please verify that your browser is allowing nextgenmath.com to create cookies. For more information on allowing cookies for nextgenmath.com please see the steps below. For any additional support please contact your school/district IT department.

To enable cookies in Google Chrome:

  1. Select the Chrome menu icon
  2. Select Settings.
  3. In the "Privacy and security" section, select "Cookies and other site data".
  4. Make sure "Block third-party cookies and site data" is not checked
  5. If your site blocks cookies add [*.]nextgenmath.com to "Sites that can always use cookies."
  6. Scroll to the bottom and ensure that nextgenmath.com is not listed under "Sites that can never use cookies."

To enable cookies in Safari (Mac):

  1. Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Privacy in the top panel.
  4. Under "Block cookies" select the option "Never." Alternatively, uncheck "Block all cookies."

To enable cookies in Safari (iPhone/iPad iOS 11):

  1. Open your Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Under Privacy & Security, turn off "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" and "Block All Cookies".

To enable cookies in Safari (iPhone/iPad iOS 10):

  1. Open your Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Under Privacy & Security, select "Block Cookies".
  4. Select "Always Allow" or "Allow from Websites I Visit".
