Written Instructions:
You can access the Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions from both your Assignment Data and Assignment Results pages.
From your assignment data page, click the three dots under “more” on the right-hand side. You can then select either "Tier 2 Intervention" or "Tier 3 Support."
You can also click anywhere on the row of the assignment, and select either from within the pop-up window.
From your Assignment Results page, the Tier 2 and Tier 3 buttons are toward the top of the page.
Creating a Tier 2 Assignment (Formerly "Blended Learning")
- Click "Tier 2 Intervention"
- The stems with an orange background include students that got those stems incorrect in the original assignment. Pushing out a Tier 2 assignment to these students will give them more practice on those same stems.
- The stems with a green background include students that got those stems correct. Pushing an assignment out to these students will give them an accelerated learning opportunity, with stems that build up from the original.
- You can sort your results by stem or by student volume, and filter by Section or Intervention. You can decide if you want to view results for accelerated learning, intervention learning or both by clicking the arrow next to each option.
- When you are ready to push out your Tier 2 assignment, unfold “Assignment Settings” at the top of the page and make any changes you'd like to make.
- Next, select the number of questions you’d like your assignment to have, and if desired, change the title of each assignment within each stem section.
- Click “Assign” to send those selected students their Tier 2 assignment.
Creating a Tier 3 Assignment (Formerly Individualized Learning)
- From either your Assignment Data or Assignment Results page, select "Tier 3 Support. Once you are on the Tier 3 page, you will see a list of each student on your roster. Clicking anywhere on the row with a student name will show you a list of the stems the student needs additional support on.
- You can go to the top of the page and filter by incorrect stems, and by sections or intervention groups.
- If you don’t want a particular student to receive an assignment, toggle the “included” option to “excluded.”
- When you are ready to push out your Tier 3 assignments, go to the very top section of this page and open up your assignment settings and make any desired changes.
- When you're ready, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click "Create Assignment."
