This tutorial will help you enable or disable the calculator option in the Next Gen Math platform.
From your Assignment Settings page, navigate to the "Calculator" drop down menu.
You have four options:
- Off - No one will have access calculator for the entire assignment.
- On – visible for all students on all questions.
- Teacher Designated – available only to students you select.
- Required Stems Only – visible only on questions where a calculator is mandated by the SBAC.
To designate students to receive the calculator:
Go to your Roster using the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Select the students you want to receive the calculator, and then select "Custom Student Settings."
3. From here, you can designate a student's language, as well as when they can access the calculator.
