This tutorial will show you how to use the progression playlist from within the Standards Builder.
The Progression Playlist allows users to quickly and coherently map out standard progressions when building assignments in the Standards Builder.
- First, drag your focus standard into the builder.
2. You will see a small menu of options next to the standard.
- The folder icon adds all stems from that standard into the builder
- The plus sign adds another question from that same stem to the builder
- The image icon shows you a preview of the stem
The up and down arrows represent the progression playlist
3. Click the down arrow to add the progression of standards that build up to your current grade level for remediation.
Click the up arrow to add the progression of standards that build upon the current grade level for acceleration.
4. In the pop-up window, use the pull-down menu on the right to choose how many levels back or forward you’d like to go.
5. To add all of the current stems, click the select all stems box. To add specific stems you’d like, click the check box next to them.
6. When you have selected all of the stems you'd like, click the "add stems to the assignment button."
You can create an assignment that has both prerequisite and accelerated stems to use as a diagnostic.
7. Once you have the stems you’d like, proceed as usual to create either a print or online assignment.
