Next Gen Math is Expanding to High School!

What percentage of standards on the Grade 11 Claim 1 state test are tied to Algebra 1? Geometry? Algebra 2?

If you don’t know the answer, don’t worry—you’re in good company. It’s not exactly common knowledge. But if you did know, would it change the way you prepare your students for the big spring test?

Using Next Gen Math for 11th Graders

We think it would. That’s why we’ve taken the guesswork out of Grade 11 Claim 1 by building a focused section of our platform aligned with the Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 standards most likely to appear on the test.

Check it out:

This targeted support meets students wherever they are. Some 11th graders haven’t seen these standards since freshman year; others might be tackling them for the first time now. Either way, our Standards Builder and Target Practice tools offer the rigor, question variety, and test-readiness that the Common Core demands.

But That’s Not All!

The high school section of our platform is growing fast, with even more resources on the way.

Here’s where we are so far:

Grade 11 Claim 1 Stems (Targets A through P!) in Standards Builder

Algebra 1 Stems (many cross-referenced with Grade 11) in Standards Builder

Target Practice for Grade 11, Claim 1 and Algebra 1

Domain Assessments for Algebra 1

Coming soon:

By the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, we’re aiming to complete Standards Builder sections for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry

Plus, Standards Builder for Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3

Beyond Test Prep: Supporting All High School Math Needs

Next Gen Math isn’t just a spring fling for state test season. Here’s how it can support high school classrooms all year round:

Intervention, intervention, intervention! Whether you're a classroom teacher, SPED educator, or interventionist, tools like the Progression Playlist, Blended Learning, and Diagnostics are ready to go.

Seamlessly integrate support. PLC Teams allow support teachers and general educators to work together for real time data, resources and intervention.

Close curriculum gaps. Whether you’re teaching integrated or traditional math pathways, you’ll find aligned question types and response formats to support math proficiency at every level.

Customization made easy. Create custom assignments (online or print), or use our prebuilt practice sets and assessments to save time without sacrificing quality.

Nonjudgmental practice. High school students can practice on their own without the pressure of grades or assessments.
