Get a First Look at NGM Summer School!
Last month we announced our Math Mastery Program, a fully-contained math learning program for students entering grades 1-8. This program was designed with summer school classes in mind, and can also work as an intervention tool throughout the school year.
Program includes:
28 ready-to-go lesson plans (45-60 min)
Pre-built activities within the NGM platform (including assessments, exit tickets, PODs, etc.)
Real-time data on student progress
Instant reteaching and interventions
Real-world activities
Teacher professional development

Next Gen Math Enters High School!
Keen Next Gen Math users may have noticed the platform slowly but surely filling up with both Algebra 1 and 11th Grade, Claim 1 stems and resources. We have been working hard to build out a high school portion of Next Gen Math. There’s a lot of new content in there, and we’re not done yet!
Here’s where we are so far:
Grade 11 Claim 1 Stems (Targets A through P!) in Standards Builder
Algebra 1 Stems (many cross-referenced with Grade 11, Claim 1) in Standards Builder
Target Practice for Grade 1, Claim 1 and Algebra 1
Domain Assessments for Algebra 1
By the start of the 2025-2026 school year, we expect to have completed our Algebra 1 and 11th Grade sections in addition to creating sections for Geometry and Algebra 2. We’ll also cross-reference appropriate standards and stems to create separate sections for Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3!

New Feature: District Administrators Reports Filters
If you’re a district administrator pulling reports for your district, we’ve streamlined the process even more for you! You can now create a report without teachers needing to share all assignments with you–and cluttering up your platform.
District Admin can sort reports in one of two ways: by school & teacher or by section:
Here is a sample of a district standards-based report:

New Feature: Filtering for Grade 1 & 2 Stems in Standards Builder
You asked. We listened!
Kudos to our 1st and 2nd grade teachers–there are a LOT of OA.1 stems in those grades! And of course they are all important! Now, rather than spending your already-limited time shifting through more than 100 stems, you can use our new filter to narrow down the stems according to the exact skill set you are looking for.

Next Gen Math Quick Tip: Roll the Dice
If you are looking for something for your early finishers to do, or would like a math enrichment activity for your students, check out Roll the Dice!
Roll the Dice can be found in Next Gen Math’s Conceptual Understanding section (more on the other great resources in that section coming soon!). It’s a fun, interactive game that allows students to practice their basic operations to make equations that match the product of two dice.
For older students or those ready for a challenge, the game includes exponents and parentheses as well. This makes it a fun way for students to practice the order of operations/PEMDAS.
Go ahead, roll the dice and take a chance on Roll the Dice.
