Happy New Year!
We hope you had a wonderful break and have returned to campus refreshed and ready for the second half of the school year. 🤯
You won’t hear “New Year, New You” from us – we think you’re already pretty fantastic. And while “New Year, New Platform” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, we do have a lot of exciting new features and updates to start 2026 off strong.

New Features and Offerings
Assignment Settings Templates
If you use Next Gen Math for lots of different types of activities (and we hope you do!), the assignment settings you choose likely depend on the purpose of the assignment.
For practice, you might enable Check Answers and Text-to-Speech.
For collaboration, Dynamic Questions and Instructional Videos/Tutorials are key.
For assessments, it’s all about Dynamic/Shuffled On.
Now you can create assignment templates with your favorite settings already on! Instead of adjusting settings every time, simply choose a template, add your students, and be on your merry way.

Enhanced Individual Assignment Reports
Last month, we introduced updated and improved full-class assignment results charts (see here).
Now, we bring you…
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁(⬅️drum roll)
…enhanced individual student assignment reports!
You can now filter student assignment results by stem, standard, target, and question.
This deeper level of data helps you more accurately assess proficiency and plan targeted next instructional steps.
New Calendar View
In addition to List View in Assignment Data, we now offer a Calendar View.
Keep organized, monitor your calendar, and access assignment information all from one place! This makes it easier to spot upcoming assessments, review past assignments, and keep tabs on pacing across classes—without jumping between screens.
