Platform Enhancements: Small Updates, Big News
Printable Lessons are Hot Off the Press
You can now print the written explanations showing how to solve a question. Here are just a few ways to use them:
- Send them home with homework.
- Give them to partners or table groups as they work through problems in class.
- Share them with tutors, RSP teachers, case managers, or substitutes so they can better support students
New! Leave Feedback on Student Work
You can now give students feedback directly in Assignment Results. Scroll to the bottom of the page, open an individual report, and leave comments next to any question.
High School Standards Builder Gets a New Look
Think of this update as less of a “reorganization” and more of a “relabeling.” Either way, it helps high school teachers find the content they need for their courses – and as CAASPP preparation.
Easily toggle between Course Clusters for the classes you teach and the testing targets covered on the 11th Grade SBAC.
And if you’ve got Big Ideas, you have a third way to view the content!
What’s Making Headlines
Live Dashboard Adds More Ways to Support Students
We’ve received great feedback about our Teacher Dashboard, especially the Live View, which allows you to monitor student progress in real time.
In addition to seeing how many questions students have answered, skipped, or flagged, you can now:
- View student screens to see exactly what they’re doing
- Receive messages when students ask for help during an assignment.
New Diagnostics Put Fluency in Focus
In case you missed the headline in our Back to School blog, we have a new diagnostic: Procedural Fluency Diagnostics!
You’ll see two types: Comprehensive and Skill-Specific. Both help identify and address fluency gaps that may make it difficult for students to reach grade-level standards.
Add these to your beginning-of-the-year (or any time!) diagnostics toolkit.

Tier 2 Gets a Major Reboot
I know I’ve written about this one already, but I’m just so excited about it! We spent time this summer updating the Tier 2 resource to make it more flexible, easier to use, and better able to target the specific intervention each student needs: remediation, reteach, or acceleration.
