Using the Advanced Drawer in a Subitizing Assignment

This tutorial will show you how to customize your subitizing activities using the Advanced Drawer.

 

Once you are in the Subitizing section of the platform, there are two ways to get to the advanced drawer. First, you can click on the row of the preset you would like to use.

Then click "Advanced" in the bottom of the pop-up.

The other way to get to the Advanced Drawer is from the assignment preview page. From here, find and click "Advanced."

You have many options for customizing your settings.

You can adjust the pattern format, frame lines, timer settings and the drag and drop option.

Slide to increase or decrease the number of rows and columns.

Select the number of grids you'd like to have.

You can increase or decrease the cell size.

Select the number of questions you'd like the assignment to have.

Select which reflection questions you'd like your students to answer.

Click "Apply" to use these settings one time.

To save these settings for later, click "Save to My Collection" to make a preset.

You can find your preset under the "My Presets" tab within your grade level presets.
