Written Instructions
Roll the Dice is an interactive game that allows students to practice basic operations and order of operations.
1. Once you are logged in, click "Conceptual Understanding" in the left-hand navigation bar.
2. Here you will see lots of resources and tools for students. To get started, click "Roll the Dice."
3. Basic instructions can be found by clicking "Instructions" in the upper right-hand corner. The object of the game is to build an equation that adds up to the product of the two dice on top. Scoring is based on the number of dice used in the equation.
4. To start, click "Roll" in the upper right hand corner. This rolls the dice and provides the product.
5. Student can build the equation using basic operations:

6. Select the dice and equation building tools you want by clicking on them. When you are ready to test your equation, select "Submit."
If you are correct, points will be given (1 point per die used).
If you are incorrect, you will be notified that your answer is wrong.
7. To clear the equation builder but use the same dice and product, select "Clear All."
8. To get a new product, select "Roll."
