Creating a Learning Group by Students, Sections, and Grades

Creating a Learning Group by Students

1. Select "Learning Groups" from the left-hand navigation bar. To create a new group, click "New Learning Group" on the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

2. Select "Students" to individually add students to a Learning Group. You will add each student by name, and the group will not change unless or until you edit it. 

3. Enter the names of the students you’d like to include in your group and then select next. You can sort by Roster, School, or District.

4. Give your Learning Group a name and then select next.

5. You can share your group with teachers, administrators, or anyone else on the platform. When you are ready, select save.

6. Click review to make any changes and ensure everything is correct, and then select "Submit."

You will now see your new Learning Group.

 

Creating a Learning Group by Sections

1. Select "Sections" to create a group by section. These Learning Groups are synced with your roster or SIS data, so they will automatically adjust as changes are made.

2. Select the section or sections you want in the learning group and then select “Next."

3. You can then add or remove students from the group. When finished, select “Next.”

4. Give your Learning Group a name.

5. Add optional shared users.

6. Review your group and make any necessary changes. Then select "Submit."

You will now see your Learning Group on your main Learning Group page.

Creating a Learning Group by Grades

1. Select "Grades" to create a group by grade level. These Learning Groups are synced with your roster or SIS data, so they will automatically adjust as changes are made.

2. Select the school or schools and grade level you want in the learning group and then select “Next."

3. You can then add or remove students from the group. When finished, select “Next.”

4. Give your Learning Group a name.

5. Add optional shared users.

6. Review your group and make any necessary changes. Then select "Submit."

You will now see your Learning Group.
