This guide is for district administrators in Next Gen Math. It explains how to choose which assignments are included in the district’s Schoolytics export. You do not need access to Schoolytics to complete these steps.
Written Instructions
District administrators can choose which Next Gen Math assignments are included in their district’s nightly Schoolytics export. Completed student scores from selected assignments will be sent automatically; no Schoolytics sign-in is required when selecting an assignment.
Before you begin: The Schoolytics option appears only after the integration has been configured for your district. If you do not see it, contact Next Gen Math Support.
Once you have created an assignment and chosen your assignment options, scroll to the Integrations section in the assignment settings.
- Turn on the Schoolytics toggle.
- Finish creating the assignment. Its completed student scores will be included in the next nightly Schoolytics export.
Remember: The Schoolytics toggle is off by default for each new assignment. Copies, retakes, and reteaches are separate assignments, so turn on Schoolytics for each one that should be exported.
Changing the Export Selection
To add or remove an existing assignment from the export, open it for editing, change the Schoolytics toggle, and save the assignment. Turning the toggle off excludes the assignment from future nightly exports.
