Once this process is done, any assignments you choose to link to Google Classroom will be automatically pushed to your GC along with any and all student scores.
- Once you have created an assignment and chosen all of your assignment options, scroll to the bottom where you’ll see your integration options. Toggle the Google Classroom setting to the on position.
2. The first time you toggle this to the ON position, you will be prompted to connect to your Google Classroom. Select “Connect Google Classroom” and then select “connect” again.
3. Choose the Google email that is associated with your Google Classroom account, and then confirm that you would like to link the accounts by clicking “continue.”
4. Review the privacy policy and terms of service, and when you are ready, click “allow.”
The system will bring you back to your assignment settings page. Scroll back to the bottom and turn the Google Classroom Integration toggle on. You will now see two drop down menus.
The first is to select which GC course you want the assignment to go to. The second allows you to either use this as a new assignment or to link it to an assignment already published on Google Classroom.
5. Finally, select your NGM class and select “create assignment.”
The assignment will then automatically be in your GC Classwork stream. You will also see a link icon in your assignment data page, telling you the assignment has successfully been linked.
Note: Once you have completed this process once, you can turn the Google Classroom Integration on for any assignments you'd like linked.
