This tutorial will show users how to access the Kindergarten subitizing stems within the Standards Builder.
1. Go to Standards Builder and be sure the grade-level drop down menu is set to "Kindergarten."
2. Scroll down to the OA domain and locate OA.4 stem 2 and OA.4 stems 4-16.
3. To model for your students, single click the stem you'd like, and then project your screen to model up to 10 questions for that same stem.
4. To create a subitizing activity, drag and drop the subitizing stems you'd like into the builder, create a title, and select "Print" for a hard copy of the assignment.
5. To create an online assignment, click "Preview" from the builder.
6. When you are ready to assign the activity, select "Assign."
7. Modify the assignment as you'd like, add your students, and select "Create Assignment."
