Written Instructions
At the top of the Standards Builder page, you’ll notice a toggle that says Domains and Big Ideas. Big Ideas takes you into this following view:
When all the rows are closed, you can see all of the Big Ideas for the grade level you are currently viewing.
The words in bold are the Big Idea, and next to that is the content connection.
Hovering over a row provides the full description.
To open a row, click on the arrows after the name of the Big Idea. Doing this shows the domains that are included within that big idea, as well as the standards and stems for that domain.
In this example, the 3rd grade big idea Fractions of Shape and Time includes 3 domains: Number & Operations Fractions, Measurement & Data, and Geometry.
